The Challenges

Jungle Marathon

The Jungle Marathon has been called the “The world’s toughest endurance race.” Why? It’s a 6 stage, 158 mile (254 km) ultra-marathon through the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. Daily temperatures hit 40º C (104º F) with 99% humidity, there’s severe elevation changes, river crossings, mud, and the wildlife of the Amazon to contend with.
