The Leadville Trail 100 Run, also known as “The Race Across the Sky,” is a 100 mile ultra-marathon high atop the Colorado Rockies. Starting at 10,176 feet (3,101 m), reaching heights of 12,600 feet (3,840 m), and totaling 14,000+ feet (4,267+ m) of climbing, it’s a lung- and leg searing test of endurance. Especially considering that it takes place one week after the Leadville Trail 100 MTB.
I finished in 23:23:24, thus earning the big gold and silver belt buckle.
