Norseman Triathlon

The Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is an iron-distance triathlon in Norway and is considered to be one of, if not the ultimate triathlon. The race begins with a 13 foot jump into a chilly fjord and the marathon finishes with a 10.7 mile (17.2 km) run/climb up a rocky peak to the finish at Gaustatoppen at an elevation of  6,070 feet (1,850 m). While course covers the standard 140.6 miles (226 km), there’s a total elevation gain of 16,404 feet (5,000 m).
