Pumpkin Pie Spinach Smoothie
I was supposed to race the Xterra Western Championship this weekend, but I didn’t. However, I did make my Pumpkin Pie Spinach Smoothie! Since I promised not to ramble when on the topic of food, put this stuff on your grocery list:

Canned Pumpkin Puree, Almond Milk, Maple Syrup, Molasses, Vanilla Extract, Ground Flax, Pumpkin Pie Spice, Banana, & Frozen Spinach
Grab your blender and pour a cup of Almond Milk in it. Think you’re done with liquids? You, my friend, are wrong. Water it down with a quarter cup of Water:
Add a Tablespoon of Ground Flax for fiber and keep your hunger pangs at bay:
That Tablespoon has more work to do! Add Molasses. Then Maple Syrup. Grade B. It’s better. Trust Me. No need to use different Tablespoons for everything; all the ingredients are friends:
I added Hemp Protein, but more importantly, make a Banana swan dive in there:
Somehow I forgot to document adding the Pumpkin – pretty dumb considering this is a Pumpkin Pie Spinach Smoothie. Anyways, add a half cup of pumpkin puree. Then, add a generous Teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice:
Last, but not least, add half a cup of Frozen Spinach to make the smoothie look nasty:
You know what your blender likes. Turn it on:
Ta-da:
But wait! There’s still goodness in the blender! Get a Spatula (not optional):
Lastly, do the dishes. No one likes a dirty kitchen:
